About the German Wineschool
The German Wine School With training locations in Koblenz, Berlin, Hamburg and Munich, the comprehensive seminar program of the German Wine School is available to wine enthusiasts, and those aspiring to be enthusiasts.
Our target groups are: • Sommeliers • Entrepreneurs and employees in wine imports and in the retail and wholesale wine trade • Entrepreneurs and employees in the hotel and restaurant field • Wine professionals and semi-professionals • Event participants • Wine lovers, wine enthusiasts, novices and wine clubs • Wine producers
The flagship courses of the DWS, the "IHK-certified Sommelier" as well as the "IHK-certified Wine Trade Specialist Adviser", are offered to students throughout Germany, from the locations in Koblenz, Berlin, Hamburg and Munich.
The training in international wines is one of the most advanced wine programs in Europe. This training is presented in conjunction with leading international wine schools. This recently introduced program gives participants the opportunity of learning intensively and in very practical terms about the culture of wine, vineyard and cellar practices, grape varieties and terroir on location in the vineyard regions of the world.
