The German Wine and Sommelier School, with headquarters located in Koblenz, and with branch campuses in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich is recognized as the leading and most competent center in Germany for advanced education in wine matters.
The demand for qualified employees in both the wine trade as well as in the hotel and restaurant trade is clearly on the increase. Our courses and seminars are available on a part-time basis, ranging from sensory appreciation seminars lasting for a single day or a few days to the full year-long courses culminating in the official IHK examinations. The flagships are the courses leading to the qualifications of IHK-certified Sommelier (On-trade) and IHK-certified Sommelier (Off-trade).
Modern seminar rooms and facilities, innovative teaching concepts, experienced lecturers and co-operation with international wine schools, associations and producers provide an excellent foundation for up-to-date, practice-oriented seminars and other events.
