Dear students,
We are particularly proud of our cooperation with the renowned Johnson & Wales University, the largest university in the United States for the culinary arts and the hospitality trades, which offers its students a 4-week wine education program, with lectures at the German Wine School located in Koblenz, Germany. Since 2002, we have run six Wine Certificate courses, and close to 180 students have so far received their certificates.
Some of our instructors in 2008, who are expected to be part of the team again next year, include:
Markus del Monego, Master of Wine and world champion sommelier
Kerry Brady, senior lecturer German Wine Institute and book author
Peter Gebler, Cape Wine Master
Our current summer wine program, the seventh in succession, will run from Monday, June 30, 2008 through July 26,2008. Note: this program has now been completed, see photographs in the Gallery section.
