JWU Wine Certificate

Dear students,

we are particularly proud of our cooperation with the renowned Johnson & Wales University, the largest university in the United States for the culinary arts and the hospitality trades, which offers its students a 4-week wine education program, with lectures at the German Wine School located in Koblenz, Germany. Since 2002, we have run eight Wine Certificate courses, and around 200 students have so far received their certificates.

Some of our instructors in 2009, who are expected to be part of the team again in 2010, include:

David Schwarzwälder, internationally respected lecturer and published author

Julia Sevenich, wine author and currently Master of Wine candidate

Kerry Brady, senior independent lecturer German Wine Institute and book author

Peter Gebler, Cape Wine Master

This year's summer wine program, the eigth in succession, has once again been held very successfully. Photographs of the program have been uploaded to the Gallery. The 2010 Johnson & Wales Summer Wine Program is scheduled to run from 2 to 31 July 2010.
